How can we improve SSAS Compare?

Similar to SQL and Data Compare, need a set of filters for objects not to compare/update

specifically as related to data sources and security in target cubes, probably should not be updated from the source. I'm mostly thinking about having a dev/qa cube that is deployed to multiple production cubes.

I agree. The biggest hurdle I encounter when comparing across environments is Permissions differ and I would like to filter that out. I could also see that ability to ignore partitions being very helpful. I think these really make sense since this is a typical option to retain these types of objects when using the SSAS Deployment Wizard. If going this far, I would think it would be handy to toggle all object types for the compare. All in all, I think the tool is really great!
