Synchronise individual measures, dimension attributes, member properties and relationships
Currently you can only synchronise entire measure groups and entire dimensions. More granular control is required: the ability to synchronise individual measures, dimension attributes, member properties and relationships.

Unfortunately this does not seem to be supported by Analysis Services. If you write a XMLA script to do a more granular update, it is rejected.
