    SSMS is way slower these days. I'm currently using SSMS 17.7 but SSMS 2008 is way faster to get basic stuff done. Are you sure the slow down is all due to Red-Gate?

    definitely needed. Note there are at least 4 different suggestions now that cover this idea and the related context menu idea. Can the moderator please combine these so the vote count is reflected. thanks

    I think the suggestion to "Add option to the context menu for a result to open the item for modification" would be better.

    Under the search results and above the script of he selected result is a link "Select object in Object Explorer" - you could add another link for "ALTER script in query editor" and/or "DROP/CREATE script in query editor".
