convert sql query to logical chart
I have an idea, you should create a feature to help us convert sql query to logical chart. This is a useful feature for us

ELK or Splunk
ELK, Splunk, and Appinsights are better than email

Allow Acknowledgement from original Email Alert
When the Email Alert is sent, allow the recipient to respond with an Acknowledgement via interface from within the email.
For example, when the email is received that "DB has drifted", the email should provide a quick form for the recipient which mimics the Acknowledge interface from within DLM Dashboard. The goal would be to allow quick acknowledgement from the email itself, rather than having to access the UI.

multiple email addresses and database specific notifications
Add the ability to have multiple email addresses notified when a change is made and allow notifications to be configured at a database level

Add additional authentication methods for email server configuration
I'm unable to configure email alerts right now because of how our certificate and DNS are configured, which results in name mismatches--if I use the correct name that resolves to an internal address, I get a certificate name mismatch. If I use the name on the certificate, I end up connecting to the wrong IP address. Thus, the only way I can configure alerts is to disable the secure connection, which I don't want to do. It would be nice to have some other options here so I could work around the certificate name problem.

Ability to configure email notifications based on the pipeline
So we have specific groups that work on certain projects/pipelines. The ability to configure email notification groups based on the pipeline there're working on would be awesome i.e. group A working on pipeline A only gets pipeline A drift notifications. Group B working on pipeline B only gets pipeline B drift notifications

detect disabled indexes
I think it might be a good idea to detect when index is disabled. I know that it might not surface when comparing schemas, but the effect of disabling is on querying the given table is comparable with an index beeing dropped or modified in an unfortunate way.
Not to mention that there is no way to tell from SSMS GUI whether index has been disabled or not

Aggregate email notifications
There must be a way to moderate alerts such that they are not trigger reed on every event but rather aggregated so that we receive an email say on a given interval - such as a specified time or say at 6 hour intervals.
Our sys admins are getting concerned about the traffic coming from my ip which is monitoring several MSCRM dev/test environments and the emails can be too frequent especially when there is a tear down and rebuild etc. also the event cache in the Redgate db retention needs to be expanded and configurable.6 votes -
Ability to configure the links used in email notifactions
So my install is on a satalite environment, I can access it via IP from anywhere but not by DNS name (granted I could use a host file entry on every machine I use but who wants to do that?).
I would like to be able to change the URL base just like I can in SQL Monitor.

Include script attachment to email notification
then can have full record of changes in designated mailbox. Option similar to more customization of email notifications.

How email alerts are grouping the changes?
Hi! Some times I'm receiving an email for each change in any object in same Environment/Database, if my team modified 3 stored procedures I received 3 emails, but some times I'm receiving only one email...
It depends of the difference of time between each change.. or depending of the user... ?
What is the criteria to group the changes in email alerts for the same Environment/Database?
So my idea is to have something to edit this feature.
Thanks!3 votes -
the email should list which sql object actually changed. not just 1 table name, but the actual table name

On the email alert can more info be provided about which table has changed
Provide more info in the email alert to avoid having to open the website

Who made the change?
Hi! I would like to see who made the change in the email alert.

Tray notifier for problems, just like Visual Studio TFS Build notifier
I would very much prefer "silent" notification, instead of an email.
I guess it would require a server side component, but benefits are also, that all team members could get immediate notification this way.
Like TFS, the icon in the tray area, could shift icon/color, when troubles are discovered.2 votes -
Send email alerts without having to setup an SMTP server
I don't have an internal SMTP server I can use for sending alerts. An external service that I don't need to configure would be a lot easier for me.

More customization of email notifications
The dev database is going to be drifting frequently, and we don't need an email every time that happens. But we definitely want to know when prod is changed. We would like to turn on notifications per environment, or per database.
We may also want one person notified if Project A changes, and another notified about Project B.109 votesJonathan Hickford responded
We’ve not implemented this feature quite yet. In the mean time if you’re on SQL Lighthouse v1.1.10 we do now show project and environment in the notification email subject. Hopefully that helps set up filters as a stop gap

Project Level Changes Notifications
We would like to see an email if something changed in the estate (as opposed to an email for each DB) We have 70+ dbs.. and when doing an upgrade an email suggested drift occurred would be more useful than 70 emails.
Also.. we were kind of hoping we could see given one database which ones match it... Or basically showing groupings by matching schemas... (This would help us keep an overall view)

Notify me if the DDL trigger is deleted
If the DDL trigger is deleted or disabled the process stops notifying me of the change. I would expect that the dashboard would alert me that it is not monitoring the database - perhaps on a periodic basis - perhaps also offer me the option to check for drift on demand in that case?
