Show my version control system as an environment
I want to check that our dev server is in sync with version control. I want to show the head of my version control system as an environment, so I can see it side by side

Provide a method for selecting individual changes to be included in new schema acknowledgement
Some times multiple changes occur for a database that are unrelated before a new schema can be acknowledged. I would like a method to select or group selected changes and acknowledge those changes as a particular schema while leaving the unselected changes available to be added to a different schema history.

Show version control revision numbers as names automatically
I don't want to have to keep naming the states of my databases. It should automatically use the revision numbers from my version control system

ONE FILE containing ALL the changes
t would be nice to have the functionality to create ONE FILE containing ALL the changes that have been done to cause a certain drift in the database version. I noticed currently it gives me the option to download a file for each change done individually, but very often these changes can amount to quite a large number, and having to download hundreds of files is not really practical.
Having all the changes "downloadable" as one file would be a huge benefit.
Adding more to that functionality, as I've already seen people suggested: to have the option to "pick and…17 votes -
Comparison options
Can some comparison options be added to DLM Dashboard to filter out things like NOT FOR REPLICATION? I feel we should have the same control as SQL Compare

Filter changes on user level as well as on object level per database.
On the dashboard you can see how many changes that has been done by a particular user in a database. I think it would be great if you could filter the view on changes per user in the same way as another suggestion posted here: that you should be able to filter the dashboard on object level.

"Name this schema" field to allow the same schema name?
Perhaps I'm not using this correctly but I need to update multiple dbs to a certain schema. Ideally I'd use the same name in the field "Name this schema" when I'm reviewing the change so I can track that the dbs are indeed at the same schema version. Or perhaps there's another way to do this?

The dashboard spots when two databases have the same schema. If you name it on one database then the dashboard should automatically give the name to your second database. If it’s not doing so then you may have uncovered a bug in the tool – please could you email dlmdashboardsupport@red-gate.com and we can work out what’s happening? The dashboard spots when two databases have the same schema. Ability to assign Versions by Database
Need the ability to assign Version numbers by database not across the entire instance as we monitor multiple unrelated DBs within the same instance, and be able to re-use version numbers. This may mean adding a custom grouping to selected DBs in the instance.

Ability to Filter Changes pre page load
Before loading the Differences screen, have options pre loading for filtering. When loading this page, DLM will often give a list of every single View in the database, with the statement "No details available", which causes a huge load of the web browser (Firefox, with just this page open and DLM is using over 2Gb!). It also means it takes a very long time to load the page, and makes it impossible to actually tell what changed.

Able to check drift against a standard database
We tried DLM Dashboard, but it doesn't work the way I hoped. I would love to authenticate only one standard database. Then DLM Dashboard can automatically show other related database's drift against the standard database. Instead, we have to approve each database's drift. I really hope DLM Dashboard can develop these kind of functions.

SQL Agent job tracking - I would love a way to add the master database. If simple alerts can be sent on drifts for agent job changes it would be fantastic.

Schema Name field VersionNr longer
The Schema Version Name field should be wider. We are using labeld GIT Version Numbers including the latest commit SHA Hash ti identify a unique version. This combination looks like that:
"5.1.2-alpha.44+Branch.dev.Sha.0dfb474d340d9a0c0aa4015204860c19122192bb"
I would like to add this information as schema version name, but I can't.4 votes -

Ability to APPROVE or DECLINE changes and then write and execute scripts to that effect
A series of changes are shown. The DBA can either approve them, or decline them, and if decline, run reversal scripts as needed? May be too complex, but would be wonderful!

Ability to see when a change is reverted and remove the "reporting"
I added a dumb test table. Red Gate caught it. Then I deleted it. Red Gate seemed to get lost. If the change and then removal/reversion could be tracked somehow possible, meaning this was a non-event, that'd be great.
