  1. Suggest that the SSCv3 installer NUKE all prior version Log folders e.g., SSCv2 and SSCv1, please...(or at least offer us the choice to have them nuked...) Had Stuart not posted (at http://redgate.uservoice.com/forums/39019-sql-source-control/suggestions/2526239-log-files), I'd have those two folders around for ever...

  2. When I am updating my database objects, I'd like to include the version history in my script. I can't copy the version comments into my header block. Perhaps a SQL Prompt like a snippet that pastes the comments into the text editor would work.

  3. This would be a comparision between the local version of the files (e.g. loaded from the database) with the latest release on the version control system.

  4. When I look at my history, I can view all the objects in a specific version but when I click on "update to this version with SQL Compare" it get back ALL my un-synced objects.

If your systems are well synced this isn't a big deal but I have hundreds of objects that still requiring syncing so I have to search for each object and check it before I can commit.

It would be GREAT if the DB objects in a selected version were AutoChecked in SQL Compare.

It would make migrating on systems that are less than perfect much…

  5. We are using this in an active DW environment. The date of the change would be a helpful SSMS column. We like to see what changed, even in non-checked in work.

  7. In SVN log you can select multiple revisions and the changes list will display changes "files" across all of the revisions. Would like to see this feature in SQL Source Control history.
