    Someone on the product team should write a bit of Win32 code to hook the KEYDOWN or WM_COPY message, and handle it before it bubbles up to the IDE.

    Making users change a preference is wrong-headed confusing.

    they moved this in SSMS 2014 to Options Environment > Documents > Show miscellaneous files.
