Remember the location of the SQL Search toolbar
Is there any way to make SSMS remember where the SQL Search toolbar is placed? Every time I start SSMS, SQL Search takes up an entire toolbar slot above my other two toolbars. I'd rather have it alongside the others leaving more screen real estate for scripts, etc

The new release of SQL Search fixes this problem. you can download it here:

Thanks for the suggestion. We are now closing this issue so that votes are reallocated.
Thanks

Red-Gate, would you please fix this issue already. What a stupid thing to frustrate your users over!! I really hate when I look up an issue and find that it has been reported for well over a year and you still haven't corrected it.

It also seems to be a very old issue: https://forums.red-gate.com/viewtopic.php?t=14865

Sad to say, it DOES NOT REMEMBER ANYTHING! Build 2.0.1.28 installed. Open SSMS. First time customizing the buttons, I saw every RG Toolbar option AND the SQL Prompt menu options. Exit SSMS, having changed nothing. Start SSMS. Re-position toolbar. Customize: resequence icons and change all of them to "Default" (Icon only). Close SSMS. Restart and it's as if I never changed a thing! WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!

I actually find it gets hidden after each reload, which is arguably a worse problem. You have to turn it back on again after every restart. Other 3rd party toolbars seem to remain visible or remember their state.
