    If you're comparing procs you might be using SQL Compare instead of SQL Data Compare - we do have an 'ignore whitespace' option in SQL Compare which will mean that different line endings are treated as being the same

  2. Similar to other ideas, any project option to ignore should give ability not to display ignored option finds in comparison result

    We've actually fixed this for whitespace specifically in a recent release (12.0.39.3632) so that might be worth checking out. I agree for the more general case, though - we're looking into ways of making the text diff comparison smarter, but we don't have any definite plans yet.

  3. The application window for SQL compare is very hard to resize...

    Hi Kim - you should be able to resize the window normally, but we've heard a few reports such as yours of it not working properly. Unfortunately we haven't been able to reproduce the problem locally yet, which means we don't know how or what to fix. Could you get in touch with support@red-gate.com to see if we can figure out what's going wrong?

    Sorry you're having trouble - we've heard about a few problems with resizing but we haven't been able to reproduce them yet. We'll keep investigating and let you know if we find anything

    Thanks for the information - we've been tracking down some bugs with resizing not being available, and we haven't gotten to the bottom of it yet but we'll let you know when it gets fixed.

    By the way, which version of Compare are you seeing this on? If you're having problems with v11 it might be worth trying out v12 (currently available on Frequent Updates) to see if that fixes the problem
