Hi – this request was closed when the ‘TFS work items’ feature was released. http://documentation.red-gate.com/display/SOC3/Committing+changes
However, we’re still hearing about this enough that I’d agree with commenter Ben: it should be reopened.
We will continue to gauge interest here on UserVoice. Please do tell us more in the comments about what you expect to be able to do with Work Items in SQL Source Control.

An error occurred while saving the comment philcart commentedDavid, I'm wondering if it's something similar to this problem I posted for SQL Compare http://www.red-gate.com/MessageBoard/viewtopic.php?t=14985

An error occurred while saving the comment philcart commentedNot applicable in SVN environment, but thought I'd add to this to give a different viewpoint. Currently we use TFS Sidekicks in Visual Studio to do this. Slight bit of pain as it means I have to have a full version of Visual Studio installed to utilize the functionality. Having this in SSC would reduce the number of tools I have to hop through on a day-to-day basis.

Dedicated database developmentWithout going to the "Get Latest" tab and refreshing, there is no indication that the database is not in-sync with the latest source control version.

An error occurred while saving the comment philcart commentedThis could easily be extended to include server configuration items, ANSI settings, etc...
Ahmed, what you're looking for is probably best done at SAN level. With something like FlexClone from NetApp. See this article,
