@David, screenshots emailed. Red dot type of indicator is the sort of thing I was thinking about.
@Greg, check frequency is already configurable.

@philcart - any chance of emailing the screenshots to david dot atkinson at red-gate.com? We've discussed a concept of red indicators (like the blue ones) which will appear on the Object Explorer tree when we detect a more recent version in source control. Is this what you had in mind?
