Ludvig - I realize it would mean using a not for free 3rd party app but you can do this with UltraCompare from IDMComp the people who w=make the UltraEdit text editor. I use their suite of products which includes the text editor and UltraEdit to do exactly what you are asking for. I copy the contents of each tab to a tab in UltraEdit, highlight the contents of both and click the Compare button and I get a very quick and detailed breakdown of the differences between the 2,. You can also use their UltraCompare program to compare other things like teh contents of a file directory, to locate not only differencing files but files of the same name with different contents. It's a really fantastic product.
