How can we improve SQL Compare?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.

  1. case insensitive built-in keywords and function names

    We need an option to ignore the difference when the same keywords or built-in functions have different cases, since those differences do not matter even for binary collation databases.

  2. Support the new SQL Server 2025 VECTOR data type

    We need SQL Compare to compare and synchronize changes to this new data type across environments.
