Source control slow down

SQL Source control is slowing down my entire SSMS. This wasn't always the case, but now trying to get a context menu to show up on a table can take up to 30 seconds. Please fix!

    SSMS is way slower these days. I'm currently using SSMS 17.7 but SSMS 2008 is way faster to get basic stuff done. Are you sure the slow down is all due to Red-Gate?

    Additionally, it is slowing down for DB's not under source control as well....
