Should be considered the option to add o remove columns on the results grid.
Only that, being able to add or delete columns in the results search grid. Would be great.

Allow reordering of result columns
I wish to view the result columns hierarchically: Database -> Schema - > Object. But at present I'm limited to the existing order, which is reverse in my mind: Object -> Schema - > Database. Bonus if the columns are draggable.

Allow Restart SQL search from SSMS
A Restart SQL search button: Many times Redgate can stop working/throw an error (can be system problems, not Redgate itself), however, the search interface continues to accept input but return 0 results
A Restart Search button would really help and solve this issue without having to restart SSMS everytime it happens.

show constraints and default values, allow jump to column in object explorer
When Displaying the search results that match a table column, include default value and nullable in the results.
Additionally allow Select object in Object Explorer to select the matched column.

Database selections
1) The last dropdown just shows me the alias names I use to connect to databases so I have no idea which user I'm doing the search under which impacts results based on the privilleges. This should clearly show which user it's searching under please.
2) I'm sat here right now, I've select 1 database to search against out of 300. Yet my search results coming back (after 20 minutes of waiting) keeps including ALL database. I've closed down the search window and tried again, same result. why?
3) Needs to be able to export results from the search window…8 votes -
Ability to PERSIST SETTINGS.
Ability to maintain settings between searches. When I switch back and forth and open and close it, it goes back to SEARCH ALL, but when I am working, I am usually focused on something and it's quite painful to have to reset the settings almost every-time., We need a checkbox option to PERSIST SETTINGS.
When I am working on something I am usually working in one or two databases but we have 50 databases, I don't need to search all those all the time. I am usually looking for where column names are within tables, I love all the features…

Show in results window each location of matching text with ability to jump to next found match (like search feature in SSMS)
Similar to SSMS now where it highlights the side bar with each instance of the matched string, in the results window show me each instance that text was found.
Also like the SSMS find feature, allow me to jump to each instance of the matching text within the page.14 votes -
Major KNOWN Issue --- Stop requiring product to login to all databases on server
The product requires you to have at least read access to all databases on provided server... because when the product opens... and db access is lacking... then USER is failing login attempts on PRODUCTION SERVERS to which user has no access. This creates GREAT FRUSTRATION for DBA and AUDITing groups.

Stop the search once started or at least control when it "starts"
Add a stop/start button to the search process.
If you change the criteria, it immediately starts searching for that criteria before you get a chance to change some of the other parameters.
Worst case scenario it eats up all the memory and crashes SSMS if you search against "All Databases" on a production server.
Give some control back to the UI.25 votes -
Add GUI options to Add/Remove columns from search
It would be nice to have the option to show or hide some of the different columns in our search results. I rarely ever need to see the "Schema" or "Detail" columns in the search results. They are just real estate wasting columns for me 95% of the time I'm using SQL Search so it would be awesome if I could hide those for when I want to dock the SQL Search under the properties or object explorer panels.

I would like to see history of my search and to be able to re use it fast, right away in search box.
I would like to see history of my search and to be able to re use it fast, right away in search box. The idea is that almost all the time I’m working with 2-4 tables, SP and views and it will be helpful to me to get last 10 used search text at once. A text is selected when I do Navigate to Object function.
The list could be like combobox or like auto complete /with text that has been used already/.
I’m sure this will be in help for all persons using you great search tool. I’m using…
