SQL Prompt 5 (expected in Dec 2010 or Jan 2011) will have a feature to find invalid objects. You can get information about current early access releases at http://www.red-gate.com/messageboard/viewforum.php?f=127.

Interestingly, this is a feature that is making it into the upcoming SQL Prompt 5 (you can sign up to the early access program to try it out), but it seems like a good idea to have something similar as a pre-commit check in SQL Source Control.
