Allow me to add a comment when linking a db to source control
We have pre-commit hooks enabled in SVN to make sure a reference to a Jira ticket is entered and creating a fresh DB link fails with these enabled as SSC will try to add a standard comment that does not match the required format. Every action requiring an SVN log message, should prompt for one
This feature now appears in SQL Source Control version 2.2!

Fix: Expose your comment "Database project file added by Red Gate SQL Source Control" so as we can change it.
Because our svn server has a pre-commit hook we need to enter a bug no. before doing any commits. So if your comment was exposed I could just edit like this:
"DH-1160 Database project file added by Red Gate SQL Source Control"where DH-1160 is the bug no. assigned to me.

After speaking with Chris, he suggested I vote for this. I agree with the original comment. Our repository also requires a comment in a particular format. Please allow a custom comment to be added.

I have already received the ZIP with the default directory structure for committing this into SVN. However in order for it not getting lost, I felt I post it here, too

Hi Andrew,
On the initial link, we supply a default comment, which is "Database project file added by Red Gate SQL Source Control." Is your pre-commit hook looking for something specific?
We hope to provide more flexibility when linking a db in a future release. For example:
Browse repositories - http://redgate.uservoice.com/forums/39019-sql-source-control/suggestions/539431-browse-to-a-svn-repository-or-tfs-2010-server-inst
and
Create new folder(s) in repositories - http://redgate.uservoice.com/forums/39019-sql-source-control/suggestions/619767-ability-to-create-a-new-folder-in-svn-or-tfs-when-In the meantime, I'll email you a workaround.
Thanks!
Stephanie Herr :-)
