An error occurred while saving the comment Quick update to confirm we're reviewing feedback on SQL History.
Some updates:
- You can now easily filter for starred queries by clicking the button at the top (see attached image).
- The '3-dot' menu now shows when you are filtered by starred queries. Thanks for your patience here. I'll post more updates once I have them.

An error occurred while saving the comment On, 2:
After 7 days some snapshots are removed (query edited and connection changed) and then VACUUM is run on the SqlHistory.db file which rebuilds the database file, repacking it into a minimal amount of disk space.
Does this cover what you're looking for here, or would adding the option still be useful?
An error occurred while saving the comment Quick update on 3 - the latest version of Prompt has removed this feedback link.
I'll come back to you on the other requests.

An error occurred while saving the comment This is an interesting one. We've seen requests from customers both for and against the idea.
We think there are a couple of reasons not to do this:
- It's not an expected behaviour for a Windows application.
- It could bring performance issues as fetching the data will take time.
- Potential UX issues with the floating window interacting with other elements on display.I'll leave the suggestion open for now to gather feedback, but at the moment we think the potential issues outweigh the benefits.

It's also possible to remove individual queries, and queries older than a certain query.

An error occurred while saving the comment We think this might be covered in the options.
There is an option to automatically reconnect restored queries in SQL Prompt -> Options -> Queries / History. There's also some help with it that reads "If you're using SQL Server authentication, you need to select Remember password on the Connect to Server dialog box. If you don't, SQL Prompt won't be able to reconnect your queries automatically."
Let me know if this doesn't help. What else are you looking for here?

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Matthew,
Thanks for the suggestion for Prompt, the team will discuss and update here.
In the meantime, we thought this article might be useful:

Quick update here. SQL History by default searches DATE DESC which we believe is the correct default option.
We'd be interested to talk to users with other preferences, I'm particularly interested to see search use cases where other sort options are required. Let me know if you'd like to set up a conversation.
