SQL History SORT BY option, as in DATE DESC
SQL History sorts files by modified date ASCENDING. Its needs to be DATE DESCENDING. Need options to sort by name or date, ASC or DESC. Like how TAB HISTORY used to.

Bring back Tab History. That was a very simple and easy-to-use feature. SQL History is just flat terrible. It is way too cumbersome to use and the fact that we had to go through UserVoice just to get the results sorted by descending date is a strong indictment of how little thought and effort was put into the end-user experience. You broke a solid feature. Admit the mistake and roll it back.

Agree that defaulting to DATE DESC should be the right option. But in my experience it is not that. I dont actually understand what the default is since you changed the feature. In the Advanced Search option, it appears to be sorted by "most relevant" (whatever that means).

Quick update here. SQL History by default searches DATE DESC which we believe is the correct default option.
We'd be interested to talk to users with other preferences, I'm particularly interested to see search use cases where other sort options are required. Let me know if you'd like to set up a conversation.

I’ve one machine with the latest SQL Prompt installed so I can test it. My main machines & servers are still on the prior version with Tab History. Tan History crashes more now but I still find it better than the new SQL History which requires more keystrokes and clicks to find me what I need from my previously opened tabs. Wish I had more time to test SQL Prompt.
