Source Control CLI
Hi
We're looking at automating a lot of things (currently got the automation of creating images and clones down to a couple of PowerShell scripts).
The script I'm currently working on will create a clone, create an Azure project/repository and clone to a local directory.
What I'm trying to do now is to automate linking the clone (in SSMS) to the local repository but I can't anything on CLIs for Source Control.
It doesn't look like this is currently possible but would be really useful.
Regards
Richard

We are not planning to have a CLI for SQL Source Control. We have a CLI for Flyway, our multi-database versioning and automation solution. If you're interested, you can import a SQL Source Control project into Flyway and keep your Git history (https://documentation.red-gate.com/fd/transitioning-from-other-redgate-tools-164167855.html). You can then use Flyway's CLI (https://documentation.red-gate.com/fd/automate-developer-workflows-271584321.html). If you have any questions about this, please find some time on my calendar to talk - https://calendly.com/stephanie-herr/15min-1. Thank you!
