I was just about to commit this issue, when I found someone has already done it. (me)

Is this possible please, using GIT for making a lot of commits and one push should be a lot faster than using svn. Currently it's a slower.

Will this be fixed or should I turn back to using Subversion for performance?

    Kind regards
    Ludvig Derning

Also with GIT we should be able to do several (local) commits without recalculating changes?

And please disconnect the database choice from the current focused database, when SQL Source Control is slow I would like to continue using the management studio without interrupting the tool.

    Hi,

We just added this capability to Flyway, which is our x-database, x-OS cloud- and Git-first Database DevOps solution for versioning and deploying database changes. You can learn more about this feature in Flyway at https://documentation.red-gate.com/fd/working-with-data-138347109.html#Workingwithdata-Controllingstaticdata.

You can also import your SQL Source Control repos into Flyway while keeping your Git history. Learn more about moving to Flyway and importing your project at https://documentation.red-gate.com/fd/transitioning-from-other-redgate-tools-164167855.html.

If you have any questions, please comment below or reach out to us at DatabaseDevOps@red-gate.com.

    Thank you!

Even better please stop using the last database in the explorer window, since this destroys multitaskiing inside of the Management Studio.
Whenever I do other things while SQL Source is working, I loose the database and have to start over again....

Thank you for otherwise excellent products!

Why not add regex(regular expression search).

This could then be achieved as a sideffect.

I currently keep a checked out copy of the subversion project just to regex search, this feature would be great.

Excellent: But use "drop and create to" instaed so not to destroy the debugging with wrong editions in cache.
