In Source Control for Oracle v5.7, you can update your database credentials – https://documentation.red-gate.com/soco/release-notes-and-other-versions/source-control-for-oracle-5-7-release-notes.
In 2019, we released Redgate Change Control, which is our migrations-based solution for versioning database changes. We are working towards merging these 2 tools into 1 tool for all your database versioning needs. At this time, we’ll hope to have a better way to edit other project information.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!
An error occurred while saving the comment AdminEddie (Admin, Redgate) commentedIf the user of Source Control for Oracle needs to change the security credentials to the Oracle Server, the user needs to create a new project. Please add the feature to be able to change name and password for the Oracle server without having to rebuild project from scratch.

Thanks to everyone for submitting feedback on this in the form of both voting and comments.
Currently, SQL Source Control does not have strong support for Azure SQL Database: as folks have noted in this item, AAD support, particularly with multi-factor authentication, is desired. Currently SQL Source Control does not work at all with Azure SQL Database with MFA enabled.
An additional issue worth mentioning is that pains with SQL Source Control performance may be worse than interacting with Azure SQL Database due to latency.
We would like to improve the user experience and support for Azure SQL Database, and doing so almost certainly involves addressing both of these issues. This is an area we are beginning to investigate more fully.

In our new migrations-based solution, Redgate Change Control, we treat Git as a Distributed Version Control system with Push and Pull capabilities.
We are working towards merging these tools into 1 tool to meet all your database versioning needs. At that point, we should be able to provide push and pull for Git for state-based projects.
For more information about version control in Redgate Change Control, see https://documentation.red-gate.com/dso/redgate-change-control/version-control.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!

The Deployment Script generated is created in dependency order, as a simple example - the tables that a view depends upon is created before the view is created.
So sorting the deployment script in alphabetical order may not be a good thing to achieve as this may break the dependencies between objects.
If you are looking to see what will be generated and the differences between objects in the comparison, generating an Interactive HTML report will be a better way of reviewing the differences.
If you are comparing the same differences each time, for example a compare between an existing schema and a new empty schema with the deployment script differs in some way each time you generate a deployment script. I would be concerned, if this is what is important to you, please submit a support ticket through the web portal: https://productsupport.red-gate.com/hc/en-us and clicking the big blue button "Submit a request" or email support@red-gate.com
Many Thanks
Eddie
