Allow tab history to stay open
I want to be able to keep my tab history open. I am rebuilding a lost development database and using search a LOT, but after I search, find a tab I want to look at more deeply or execute, the window disappears and my search predicate and place in the list of matching tabs is lost, so I have to enter search predicate and scroll back down each time. This is a VERY useful tool, but it would be so much more useful if I could just keep it open.

I marked this Critical because it would save a *huge* amount of time and annoyance. I don't really care about "history" but I want VERTICAL tabs to navigate my open tabs much more easily. Please! :-)

Totally agree. It's so annoying that it closes just because you go to another window.

Since we are an Agile team, we track our time weekly so that we can assign the work to specific projects. While I SHOULD be entering time as I do the work, I get so many distraction tasks that I am always about a week behind and have to go back and look at what windows I had open on what days and then switch over to Jira and enter time in. Then I have to go back, open the Tab History again and find the day I was looking at, sometimes up to 2-300 closed tabs back. Having it dockable like the SQL Search, like SAinCA_Mi9 mentions would save me around half an hour to 45 minutes of searching through tabs when I track time.

Make it Dockable - just like the Template Browser.
