How can we improve SQL Prompt?

Add SQL Prompt to the Mac / Linux version of Azure data studio

I see that Azure data studio support is on the roadmap, but cannot see any reference to the MacOS / Linux versions of Azure data studio?
Would be great to not have to boot up Windows to get to the awesome speed and power which SQL Prompt provides.

    To be honest, is the only chance anything hits success outside Management Studio, so, focus on non-Windows platforms.

    Please add compatibility to sqlprompt in Azure DataStudio for Linux. It's a critical workload now that more MSSQL instances are shifting into the cloud and running on linux machines and at scale via Kubernetes. Thank you!

    We are transitioning from A Windows Env with SSMS & Redgate Tools to a Apple Env with ADS and need the Redgate Tools

    IMO, SSMS/ADS is unusable without a SQL-Prompt like tool.

    Please add MacOS support for this extension. Compatibility is important to me as I work with ADS across both Windows and macOS platforms

    This is sorely needed given the lack of support for other SQL management tools that run on MacOS.

    Would love to know what is needed to port this over. Perhaps we could volunteer to help.

    I am a professional who has used SQL Prompt with SSMS the last 6 years. Recently I have gotten a new role using the Mac OS and there is nothing quite like it. It would significantly change my world to be able to use this tool again. I am 10x more efficient with it. The tool is priceless to me.

    Since i got a mac pro laptop i can't anymore wrapping my querries with sql prompt.
    Will you add some support to that soon?

    Hi Everyone,

    Thanks for reaching out and expressing your interest in cross-platform support for SQL Prompt in Azure Data Studio.

    The aim of this public preview is to learn from the ADS community about how SQL Prompt can enhance your developer experience. Obviously, support for people using ADS on MacOS and Linux falls under that banner, and we're tracking the number of people who express a desire for it. Once we have a better understanding we’ll publish more information about our plans on our forum.
