add semi colon to insertion keys
Could we have a check box to allow us to have the semi colon as one of the insertion keys (Main->Behaviour)?
It's not as common as the other keys there but when I'm about to finish a script I can't just hit the semi colon key.
We’ve added semi colon to the list of insertion keys in 6.2 which you can download from http://www.red-gate.com/products/sql-development/sql-prompt/

Hi Ed,
It's under "Behavior" which should be the first page that's shown on the options dialog. There's a screenshot of it under the release notes: http://documentation.red-gate.com/display/SP6/SQL+Prompt+6.2+release+notes -

I downloaded the latest version, but I can't find this feature. Exactly where is it in the Options?

Thankfully, for those of us who don't yet have the semicolon-habit, MS says it isn't depracated in SS2012 (Denali) but still labels it as depracated for "a future version", not even the "next" version. Maybe in 9 years' time we'll all be adding that keystroke...

Please see the following link and search the webpage for "semicolon":
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms143729.aspxIt says that in future versions of SQL Server, not ending a script with a semicolon will be deprecated. In other words, it sounds like using the semicolon at the end of a script will be mandatory in a future version of SQL Server.
