Tab Coloring
Had this discussion with some folks at work today. SSMS Toolspack does tab coloring but it places a color band across the entire width of the query editor while SQL Prompt's tab coloring only colors the tab. The whole line is a much more obvious reminder. Be great if SQL Prompt did a similar thing. I realize Tab coloring is an experimental feature still.

SQL Prompt 7 colors the status strip which covers the entire width of the editor. You can download the latest version from http://www.red-gate.com/products/sql-development/sql-prompt/

Hi Dale,
We do support custom colours in the new version! If you go to where the configuration files are (%localappdata%\Red Gate\SQL Prompt 6\") and open up ConnectionColoringCategories.xml. You'll see a set of categories that you can add to.
I know there's not a UI associated with it yet, but we're looking to do so.

Hi Jack,
Sorry for not getting back to you earlier!
it's an interesting suggestion! I can see why you'd want to make the colouring more obvious.
Unfortunately this isn't the highest priority for us now, as we're hoping to redo the formatting system and this will take most of our efforts for the next few months. Of course, our priorities do shift though, so this may be looked at soon.
I'll keep you up to date with any decisions.

As an addition, and as Jack has said, I appreciate that Tab Colouring is an experimental feature.
It would also be great if it supported custom colours.
