After reviewing this suggestion the team don’t feel this will be high enough on our priority list to keep open.
MDX Studio looks like the answer for anybody looking for an editor.

Actually, this area - MDX - is something that has been totally neglected by Microsoft. I think they've forgotten that MDX is still alive and kicking (and will be for a long time!). There does not exist, as far as I know, ANY decent MDX editor. Mosha Pusumansky, the founder of MDX, has tried to build something in the past but this project has never been realized. Currently, there is no MDX editor on the market. Which is strange because there are quite a few people out there that need to write MDX. If Red Gate could have a look at this and give us at least SOMETHING (like intellisense), that would be GRRRRRRRRRRRREAT!
