Support for Azure Data Studio formally (Microsoft SQL Operations Studio)
Microsoft SQL Operations Studio is in preview mode and shows a lot of potential. I would probably switch from SSMS right now if SQL Prompt was supported. Please add SQL Prompt!
SQL Prompt for Azure Data Studio is now in public preview!
The aim of this public preview is to learn from the ADS community about how SQL Prompt can enhance your developer experience, adding improvements and new features based on your feedback.
With SQL Prompt, you can use an extensive collection of code snippets to write your SQL code quickly and efficiently. You can also keep your code consistent using the powerful formatting capability, with the ability to customise the applied style to suit your preferences.
We’d love to hear your feedback. You can get in touch with the team either via the new SQL Prompt in ADS forum: https://forum.red-gate.com/categories/sql-prompt-in-ads or email us at sqlprompt.in.ads@red-gate.com.

+1 The only reason I use Sql Management Studio instead of Azure Data Studio is the Redgate Prompt... Please add support!

James Bartlett commented
Yes, please make this a priority! ADS is already the primary application used in Microsoft's new database product & service demonstrations, so it is only a matter of time until it replaces SSMS.

+1 - I love Visual Studio Code / Azure Data Studio editing as much as I love SQL Prompt. Prompt and ADS together would be Reeses, Man!

Agree for ADS support. I had my company get over 20 licenses and this is actually preventing us from using ADS which we would like to leverage.

For all day by day work I already switched to Azure Data Studio, it's too much ligher than SSMS. I keep SSMS only for admin task and toolbelt, please add support!

Would a RedGate person be prepared to provide an update on this, and perhaps rename it to Azure Data Studio?
It has been nine months since this came "Under Review". The outcome of said "Review" would be........?
Thanks.

+1 for SQL Prompt addition to Azure Data Studio. Please add. Our development standards incorporate SQL Prompt so we kind of need it.

+1 with the ability for team configuration within SqlOps. I would like to add DLM dashboard into SqlOps that way I would be able to stay within my TSQL editor and view changes in our database CI environment. Ntot having to keep SSMS and a browser open to maneuver through deployments. The extensibility of SqlOps creates a platform perfect for Redgate Source Control and DLM. Plus it is 64 bit and will remove the restriction on Redgate Source Control slowness when a database have lots of objects to compare!
